Get Expert Online Therapy
You can meet with us from the privacy of your home, office, or even in a parked car using our secure video conferencing software. We’ve been offering LGBTQ video therapy since we opened in 2015.
Thirty years of research shows that online work is just as effective as meeting in an office. This is true for working with individuals or with couples.
We offer live, online video sessions that feel very much like a session you would have in our offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, or DC. (Note: Insurance will not reimburse you for online work with us unless you live in California, New York, or DC.)
We find online work especially intimate and extra comfortable for clients. Clients are located in a space they feel particularly safe. Many clients feel more willing to share vulnerable material this way.
“Picking a couples therapist online did cause both of us some pause but, the process and ultimately the therapist we found was outstanding. With his guidance and our work we were able to confront our issues as well as develop the tools to strengthen our relationship. Both of us could not be happier with the results. Thank you.”
What are the steps to online LGBTQ counseling?
1. Schedule a time to talk to us on the phone for 15 minutes so we can personally match you to an online therapist who best meet your needs.
2. Before your first session your therapist will call you you so you can get a feeling for them and ask any questions. There is no charge for this get-acquainted call.
3. Your therapist will send you a link to access the video software and make sure you feel comfortable with the technology. There’s nothing to download. And phone sessions are always an option if you don’t prefer the video experience.
Therapy has never been easier to access. Just give us a call or a text: 415-795-2935.

“You did such a great job of matching me with an empathetic therapist who could understand me and my background in a few crucial ways! I am so grateful to have a gay therapist who gets the gay stuff 100% so I don’t have to struggle to explain basic things as part of my therapeutic process.”
