My work centers around supporting LGBTQ clients, especially gay men, with challenges that span relationships, identity, and emotional well-being.
I help individuals and couples navigate intimacy and communication, address compulsive sexual behaviors and substance use (including chemsex and party drugs like crystal meth), and build confidence in who they are—especially in the face of cultural or familial pressure. I also work with clients managing anxiety, depression, or trauma, as well as those pursuing leadership and professional growth in creative or high-performance environments.
I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and a sex therapist, with extensive experience working with compulsive sexual behavior and intimacy disorders. I also specialize in couples counseling, integrating Imago Relationship Therapy and sex therapy to help partners reconnect, improve communication, and rebuild trust.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the tech industry—an experience that helps me relate to clients managing demanding careers, leadership roles, and high-stakes professional environments.
My interest in psychology began early, and after years of personal development and reflection, This path continues to energize and deepen my connection to this work. As someone who immigrated from Croatia nearly 30 years ago, I understand the challenges of adjusting to a new culture. I also came out as gay during that time, which shaped my understanding of identity, belonging, and emotional resilience. These experiences have deeply informed my work with individuals navigating transitions, identity development, and relationship struggles.
My therapeutic approach blends psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems, somatic, and sex therapy with practical strategies drawn from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and postmodern frameworks. I tailor treatment to each client’s goals, creating space to explore, heal, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
Whether you’re looking to feel more grounded, improve your relationships, or navigate a major life shift, therapy can be a decisive step forward. I’m here to support that process.
