I’m a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. I use this practical method to help clients with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexuality, and ADHD. Some adjectives that might describe my style are engaged, respectful, down-to-earth, relaxed, mindful, insight-oriented, and solution-focused. To support couples, I use a combination of Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Gottman Method Couples Therapy to help couples heal hurts and to increase their connection through home assignments, practice and better communication. These are the most highly research methods available, with proven track records. I work with people in diverse communities, including those in kink and alternative relationships.
I know that when you look within you gain confidence in yourself and your choices. My goal is to support you in maintaining a big picture perspective while you are processing your thoughts and emotions. I will honor your innate intelligence.
