Gay Therapy Center—Miracle Mile

I help clients experience relief from shame, guilt, and fear through a safe, trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship. I do this work because I want my clients to know that they don’t have to go through their challenges alone.

As a therapist I have several specialities. They are:

Sex/Porn Addiction
Do you find yourself engaging in endless, meaningless hookups or spending too much time thinking about sex or watching porn? I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist who can help you understand why you’re stuck in this cycle and give you skills to help you build a healthier relationship with sex, partners, and porn.

Infidelity
Are you exhausted with keeping secrets from your partner? Do you feel guilty and want to understand how to break this pattern? I offer a safe place for you to understand the causes of infidelity and to learn skills to stop cheating and to enhance your relationship.

Partners of Men with Sex Addiction
Discovering that your partner has been engaging in a secret life of affairs can be life traumatic. Post Infidelity Stress Disorder (PISD) is a term used to describe the pain, anger, and shame partners feel after discovering that they have been cheated on. I will help you understand your emotions, recover from the betrayal you have experienced, and repair your relationship if you choose.

Substance Abuse
Alcoholism and drug abuse can take away everything that is meaningful and precious to you, and relapses can be confusing and frustrating. I can teach you ways to stay accountable to others, successfully work through cravings, maintain your sobriety, and understand the issues that contributed to the addiction in the first place. Therapy has played an essential role in my own recovery from traumas and addictions.  The experience was life-changing.

PTSD, Trauma and EMDR
“Trauma” is a term used to describe any sort of scary, difficult situation that you have been through or witnessed that left you feeling helpless, angry, hopeless, or fearful. Trauma affects the way we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. I specialize in EMDR, which is a safe, and very efficient way for you to let go of trauma and begin seeing yourself and the world around you with a clearer perspective.

I am also trained to work with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, and anger management.  And if you find it difficult to express your emotions, or feel as though you spend too much energy trying to make your partner happy, I can help you with codependent and sexual and emotional intimacy issues.

I encourage you to begin the process of healing and growth. I am here for you each step of the way and I look forward to connecting with you.
