Are you hiding parts of yourself because you’re worried about how people will see you? Do you want a more connected and authentic life?
Congratulations on taking the first step toward healing and growth. You don’t have to do this alone.
As a gay man, I understand many of the challenges that our community faces. Whether you’re in a high-conflict relationship or you’re attempting to find healthier coping skills for stress, together we can find a path forward that will work for you.
I work with individuals, couples and groups using a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach. I enjoy helping people reduce or eliminate unwanted substance use or problematic behavior.
I am passionate about helping couples find more meaningful ways to relate and communicate. When working with couples my goal is to help you find fresh solutions that will disarm the conflict and bring you closer together. I offer frank and constructive feedback to help you shift patterns that are causing you pain.
A therapy session with me will feel comfortable and conversational. My approach is interactive and I offer perspective, insight and tools to help you on your journey. As we build up trust, I will encourage you to open up, experience your vulnerability and become more intentional about your goals as you move forward.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in professional theatre. At times, the playfulness and creativity that I developed working in the arts can be an asset in the therapy room.
Do you want a more connected and authentic life? Outside of work I continue to be an avid consumer of the arts and enjoy staying connected with and exploring our beautiful city.
I look forward to getting to know you.
