My aim is to help you feel empowered, manage struggles, reduce harm, build effective coping skills and relationships, and thrive.

Effective psychotherapy is rooted in the understanding that who we are matters. As a queer therapist in New York City, I understand what it means to be a part of our community. While members of the LGBQ+ and trans, gender non-conforming, and non-binary communities do not all share the same life experiences, it is often important to connect with a therapist who is knowledgeable about the impact of our queer identities on our everyday lives.

In my practice, I work with individuals and couples through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and a focus on your strengths and recovery. Additionally, I specialize in sex therapy and work with people in the poly and ethical non-monogamy communities. Pleasure and joy is a central focus of my philosophy, and I strive to help others feel heard in light of their unique experiences and needs.

I am pursuing additional certification in gender and sexuality through the Psychotherapy Center for Gender and Sexuality at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and I am in the process of obtaining sex therapy certification from the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. I also serve on the American Psychological Association Division 44 Consensual Non-Monogamy Task Force.
