I am an interactive, empathetic, approachable, accessible therapist. I offer practical feedback and support to help you to move through life challenges. With compassion and understanding, I collaborate with you to help you to build on your strengths, connect the dots, identify roadblocks, discover more about yourself and attain the personal growth and freedom that you are looking to accomplish and feel.

I’ve loved the study of psychotherapy and the work from the first day of school to the present day in private practice. Working with individuals, couples and families, I deal with relationship problems, phase of life concerns, self-esteem challenges, codependency issues, emotional boundaries, depression, grief, anxiety, loss of self, and children of narcissistic parents.

I was taught to listen and to be empathic at a very young age. I was always the guy to whom friends would come for advice and support. This, along with my creative undertakings, has been constant thread through the fabric of my life.

I know that it is not easy, sometimes, growing up gay and I relate to our struggles. I have been involved with many organizations in the LGBTQ community.

I graduated magna cum laude from UCLA and went on to do graduate work at UCLA. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University.

My goal is to give you a place where you can be you—with empathy and without judgment—so that you feel safe, seen and heard. It’s a big and important step. Let’s take it together.
