More than likely if you’re reading this, you’re struggling in some way. You might feel tired, low, or anxious. Maybe you feel stuck, wanting to move your life ahead but aren’t sure how. You might be going through relationship problems, experiencing frustration or a broken heart, and feel like you’ve hit a wall. There can be any number of things preventing you from living the way you want to live and feeling the very best about yourself. This is where our working together comes in.
I have learned that growth and well being is not a solo adventure. We are beings who have a need for others. My own journey has led me to embrace vulnerability and reach out for help. I became a therapist so I can help others create change, rise above their challenges, reach their goals, shine bright, and become unstoppable. I believe in “the law of little things” where each small step adds up to big leaps.
I work with individuals and couples and utilize an eclectic, whole-person approach with interventions that resonate with you. With couples I start with an emphasis on healthy communication and teach practical skills to build this important foundation.
I have a specialized master’s degree in LGBTQ Affirmative Psychotherapy from Antioch University Los Angeles and am a Trained Mindfulness Facilitator from the Mindful Awareness Research Center at UCLA. I am a Certified Substance Use Disorder Provider and have worked in the field of addiction for over seven years. Additionally, I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is a widely recognized, evidenced-based trauma informed therapy.
Take one step today and reach out. Let’s begin the discussion on the change you hope to create and ways I can help you can get there.
