Whether it is trauma, depression, anxiety, phobias or relationship issues, I’m here to help you remove blockages that are preventing you from reaching your highest potential and to help you learn new, healthier habits.
As an active member of the LGBT community, it means a lot to me to help members of our community overcome obstacles. I’m a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. This is an evidenced-based practice that has been proven in studies to be one of the most effective treatments for those who have experienced trauma. My own experience as a survivor of trauma informs my work. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients deconstruct negative thought processes that create unhealthy habits.
My work with gay couples is centered around the Gottman Method. The Gottman Method is a highly effective, research-based approach aimed at helping couples disarm their verbal communications, increase their intimacy, respect and affection, and remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy in the relationship.
During the 12 years I have been a therapist I believe that my straightforward, empathetic approach has helped my clients achieve more harmony and balance in their life. I enjoy helping clients integrate their mind, body and spirit on their path of evolving emotionally, physically and mentally.
I look forward to hearing from you.
