Are you tired of having the same fights over and over?

Is your sex life routine or non-existent?

Is she pulling away from you or you from her?

Adam D. Blum, founder of the Gay Therapy Center, discusses the process of improving communication and intimacy for couples. View time: 2:45 min.

Our work with lesbian and queer couples focuses on teaching you how to better communicate. Our goal is help you talk about difficult subjects in a way that makes you two feel closer by the end of the conversation.

Anyone can learn this. In sessions and at home you will practice this new skill. And, most importantly, you will learn how to identify and talk about what is really underneath the fight of the day.

Beneath any experiences of frustration or anger with her are tender, vulnerable feelings. You will learn to identify and discuss these feelings in a way that makes you feel connected and loved.

Women have been in the forefront of new understandings about gender. Our therapists understand emerging queer identities and non-binary approaches to gender.

In addition to couples counseling, all of our therapists offer individual psychotherapy.

Gay Therapy Center therapists are out-of-network insurance providers. Our fees range from $150 - $185 per session. For more information on insurance, click here.

Every week we see couples transforming their relationships, developing a sense of connection with their partner they never thought possible. The longer you wait to reconnect, the greater the risk to your relationship. Reach out to us with your questions and concerns.
